More business accolades for junior Koree Cooper, who not only bested the Maryland Council on Economic Education (MCEE) Personal Finance Challenge school record, but also fell just shy of a perfect score by 30 points. The Maryland Personal Finance Challenge is an academic competition that provides high school students the opportunity to learn and then demonstrate knowledge and application of personal finance concepts during a one day academic competition.💰Cooper previously became one of the first students in the school to earn a “Certificate of Advanced Learning” in marketing. Junior Aydin Gordon (not pictured) also perforned well in the competition. Cooper is pictured with business teacher Kurt Marx (left) and Principal Tom Sites (right). #SeahawksSoar

Nothing like a little spring break celebration and pregame Easter egg hunt for our teachers. Many thanks to members of our Student Government Association for the generous donations, to our advisers Maggie Berke and Courtney Bova for planning the event, and to Mary Hathaway, also known as Edgar the Easter bunny. 🐰🪺🌷
